Students analyze their favorite songs for poetry elements
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Seventh graders at a local school just wrapped up their poetry projects based on their favorite music.
According to Columbus County Schools, the students in Anya Bryant’s Language Arts class at Nakina Middle School were required to research and analyze a song of their choice. They then had to create a poster to display the poetry elements within the song, such as figurative language, mood, tone and theme.
