COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Works of art created by three talented Southeastern Community College students and their instructor are part of the North Carolina Community Colleges Art Exhibit on display in Raleigh.

The 203-piece collection representing the creative talents of 56 of the state’s 58 community colleges is on exhibit in the Caswell Building, the home N.C. Community College System Office. A virtual tour of the exhibit is available online at http://www.nccommunitycolleges.edu/pr/ArtExhibit.

Representing Southeastern in the exhibit is “What is This?” a triptych by Slade Fowler of Whiteville; “Still Life with Watering Can,” an oil painting by Javarus Hamer of Chadbourn; “Everything, and Nothing at All,” an oil painting by Anna Lynch of Whiteville; and “Courier to Soil and Sky,” a silkscreened and wholecloth quilt by Instructor September Krueger.
