The search is on for a new police chief and town clerk | Business
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - According to Fair Bluff mayor Randy Britt, next week town council members will interview candidates for the town clerk and police chief positions.
Britt said they will interview six town clerk candidates Monday and will interview the police chief candidates Thursday.
Last month, former police chief Marty Lewis and former town clerk Tamika Packer were arrested for drug-related charges.
