Mickey D's expected to open in March in Tabor City | Business

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The iconic golden arches will soon be seen in Tabor City.

According to town manager Al Leonard, McDonald’s is on a 90-day construction project to build a restaurant in the area.

Leonard said the owners of the new fast food joint hope to open in early March.

The new McDonald’s will be located at the corner of US701 Bypass and NC Highway 904.

Town officials believe the new restaurant will be a great place to help teenagers land their first jobs.
