Man wanted for shooting into a car with two baby passengers | Crime

TABOR CITY, NC (WECT) – Police in Tabor City are searching for a man they say is connected to a shooting incident that happened in Tabor City last week.

According to police, Lilly Stephens and DeAngelo Lewis were riding in a car on Sixth Street in Tabor City around 8:00 Sunday night when five men walked in front of their vehicle and fired shots. Two babies were inside the vehicle at the time.

While police have already arrested four men in connection to the shooting, they are still searching for Jeffrey Billings. Investigators say he could be wanted for other charges in South Carolina.

Anyone with information regarding Billings' whereabouts is asked to contact the Tabor city Police Department.
