COLUMBUS COUNTY (WECT) - More new buildings are coming to some of Columbus County's oldest schools.
Students at Old Dock Elementary are finally in their new building on campus, and the principal there says the new building lets them use more technology.
The building has six brand new classrooms, bathrooms, and a computer lab.
The superintendent says that construction is also underway to add 10 new classrooms to Cerro Gordo Elementary.
County and lottery money was used for both construction projects.
School officials say they're trying to get all students out of mobile units and into classrooms.
